Job Location

The Unit Secretary position is located in Anderson, Indiana.

Job Duties

Provides general clerical support for one of the hospital's nursing units. This typically involves receiving and processing physician orders, receiving visitors in-person and by phone, routing phone calls as appropriate, ordering supplies for the unit, responding to call-lights, etc. Employee is also responsible for the collection and initial interpretation of monitor strips for all monitored patients in their work area. In addition, this position is responsible for performing a variety of technical duties in connection with cardiac monitoring of critical patients.

Experience

Three (3) months telemetry experience, or its equivalent, is preferred.

Education

High school diploma or GED is required.
