Where you fit in

The Registered Nurse Ambulatory functions as a member of the physician practice team, conducting duties such as: rooming patients, nurse visits, and live phone triage. Rooming patients includes running one of the assigned doctors, vital signs, POCT, any vaccinations. Nurse visits include blood pressure checks at the direction of the provider, catch up vaccine administration in both adults and children, TB skin testing, biometric forms, other visits as directed by the provider. Phone triage includes taking live patient calls, medication refills, prior authorizations, mychart messages, and paperwork.

Your exceptional skills

Minimum of 6 months nursing experience required. Previous medical office/outpatient experience and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred. Phone triage experience a plus. Excellent communication skills; excellent team skills; compassionate and caring; accountable; self-directed.

Your exceptional qualifications

Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited school of nursing or three years of related professional nursing experience. Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
