This position is primarily responsible for the support of the manufacturing and pharmaceutical development groups in the laboratory analysis of raw materials, container/closure and manufacturing equipment cleaning samples according to current analytical procedures, SOPs and laboratory guidelines.
· Perform accurate and timely analysis of raw materials and packaging materials according to current analytical procedures, SOPs, laboratory guidelines and safety requirements
· Testing performed to include more complex equipment and procedures, such as Atomic Absorption, Assay by HPLC and sample derivatizations
· Document all laboratory testing and maintain accurate and legible notebooks and records
· Peer review of data, reports and notebooks
· Perform laboratory troubleshooting and propose solutions
BS in Chemistry or related life science
Detail Oriented (ie. Follow SOPs, Accurate Documentation, quality of sample testing)
Experience working within pharma, food, or chemical manufacturing environment.
NIR, FTIR, UV-VIS, Raman, wet chemistry techniques
