Robert Half International Sr. Financial Analyst in COLUMBUS, Indiana
Description Dynamic company seeks a Senior Financial Analyst for a long-term temporary project opportunity. All financial issues will be managed by the Senior Financial Analyst consultant that includes project spending, planning, forecasting, and annual budgeting. You will need to follow public reporting requirements in order to perform analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments, as well as provide decision-making support for future company investments. This Senior Financial Analyst will be situated in Columbus, Indiana.
Provide dynamic support for all ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests
Execute monthly and quarterly reporting to senior management by analyzing financial results, synthesizing/distilling key trends, assessing future and current business risks, and articulating critical updates
Execute improved management reporting by working with Operations and Accounting to more discreetly and accurately track financial results
Work closely with Functional leads - provide management reporting, accounting and compliance guidance, and ensure alignment of operational initiatives
Cultivate dynamic relationships with Finance/Accounting leadership of key business partners
Optimize business performance by identifying and executing financial analysis
Help create sustainable business, operational, and financial processes to be understood by all necessary teams
Power existing management reporting by evaluating financial results, distilling and synthesizing issues, and articulating key updates to senior-level staff Requirements
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to apply critical thinking and critical decision making skills with management
Skilled in working cross functionally across teams and gaining favor of key decision makers
Proven knowledge of cost accounting
Coding Clinic experience
Financial Forecast experience
Foundational knowledge in Account Coding
Forecast Activities experience required
Strong familiarity with Epic EMR
Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
Track-record in process reengineering and optimization
-Cost modeling experience
Prior experience in office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended
Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
Proven knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
