ManTech Depot Standup Lead in Crane, Indiana

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Depot Standup Lead to join our team in Crane, IN.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform Depot development activities from conceptual stage through life cycle to include certification

  • Developed and implemented a plan to provide Depot capability

  • Designed and implemented facility requirements for Depot maintenance activities

  • Communicate with Sponsors and customers to understand Depot requirements and manage expectations

  • Provided technical research, logistical coordination, and advice for Depot maintenance

  • Formulates plans, manages daily operations, and directs the use of materials and human resources

  • Be familiar with flight line operations and flight line support activities

  • Be familiar with aircraft facilities and aircraft operations

  • Capable of planning, coordinating, and directing the activities to fulfill contract requirements

  • Capable of providing direction for operations and ensuring compliance with all management policies, plans, and procedures

  • Ability to managing and controlling schedules and cost to provide on time, within budget, performance of all aspects of the contractual effort

  • Ability to provide recommendations for resolution of problems

  • Ability to work independently toward timely completion of a variety of assignments

  • Communicate with stakeholders at all levels

Basic Qualification:

  • High School Diploma and 8 years of related experience

  • Good understanding of Naval Aviation Depot maintenance

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Experience of working to deadlines and dealing with changing priorities

  • Experience interacting with a wide range of people in a customer facing environment

  • Willingness to travel to various US or OCONUS locations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as manager within the defense industry

  • Familiarity Depot level Quality Assurance processes, and quality monitoring

  • Familiarity with commercial and/or military warehousing practices

  • Adequate knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management

  • Budget development and oversight experience

  • Familiarity with business and financial principles and practices

  • Working knowledge of budgets, forecasting and metrics

  • Proven communicator in verbal and written disciplines to include basic computer skills and document preparation.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain a DoD) Secret clearance

Required Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and knee.

  • Must be able to push, pull, and reach.

  • Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard for long periods of time.
