Naval Sea Systems Command SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in Crane, Indiana

Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the SPECIAL WARFARE & EXPED SYS DEPT (JX),

EXPEDITIONARY C3I & CYBER DIV (JXY), CYBER SYSTEMS VALIDATION BR (JXYR) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.

Responsibilities

You will provide primarily administrative, technical, logistical, financial, and/or business related services for cyber systems and programs.

You will be responsible for the administrative and technical supervision of a medium to large work force.

You will be responsible for the development of the workforce, effective execution of workload consistent with organizational initiatives and objectives, and for providing outstanding support and service to assigned customers.

You will serve an essential role in providing Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and be responsible for effecting and implementing EEO policy within the organization.

You will identify solutions and provide guidance and advice to subordinates and to other supervisors and managers.

You will coordinate and integrate work that involves distinct areas of responsibility and that requires varying skills, knowledge, and abilities to execute the mission.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing leadership or guidance to others on workforce development, effective execution of workload, or quality of support and services related to cyber program goals and objectives. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
