ProMedica Health System Operations Enrollment Specialist - Services - Full Time - Days in Evansville, Indiana

Basic Purpose: The Operations Enrollment Specialist will provide data entry, scanning and filing of documents received on a daily basis from employer groups, subscribers and agents for enrollment. Coordinate processes and workload with the assigned Operational Team Leader.

Primary Duties

  • Data entry, scanning, filling and organization of information as submitted by clients (employer groups, subscribers, members, and agents)

  • Filing and paper processing

  • Verify electronic submission of data

  • Filing and paper processing

  • Index and scan documents

  • Process outgoing mail which includes verifying addresses are visible in envelope window

  • Process mail from USPS (open and distribute) if necessary

  • Assist with data management as directed

  • Insure accurate enrollment information prior to invoicing

Other Duties:

  • Attend annual HIPAA and COBRA training.

  • Assist with document processing, filing, and mailing for other teams as needed.

  • Assist with material requests

  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 3-5 years customer service experience preferred or must be customer centric and strive to provide exceptional customer service reflected in a positive attitude. Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills for positive relationship building.

  • Must be able to prioritize workflow as instructed by Team Leader and be self-motivated and committed to learning about other departmental functions and how they relate to day to day claims and enrollment activities. Team oriented within the Operations area in order to maintain a collaborative environment for problem solving.

  • Must possess excellent communication, ability to build collaboration between team members and departments. Must communicate issues immediately to the Team Leader for any learning or training issues that restrict job performance

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have the ability to communicate on telephones, operate computers and general office equipment

  • Management of data for this position may change from time to time as the “Goal of the Company” is to be paperless due to the nature of our Protected Health Information (PHI), Payment Card Industry (PCI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

  • Must be able to type at least 50 wpm
