Acuity Brands Facilities Maintenance in Fishers, Indiana
With minimal supervision, installs, troubleshoots and repairs electrical and electronic equipment, conducts electrical and mechanical work of a broad nature, including but not limited to plumbing, hydraulics, carpentry, and shipping/receiving.
Must meet performance standards in productivity, quality, safety, housekeeping, organization and current code requirements
Will successfully complete all necessary training. Training may require that the employee change work hours for certain courses or period of time
Will perform autonomously
Responsible for part, process and equipment record keeping including information retrieval and entry on computer-based systems, specifically support tickets
Performs installation, removal and repair of a wide range of electrical equipment such as power circuits, lighting systems, switchgear, transformers, starters, controllers, production power equipment, control and dimming systems, reloc cable systems, mechanical work
Works well and coordinates from electrical, and construction blueprints. Understands submittals, and other related technical data
Possesses a good mechanical aptitude

- Must have a minimum of 2-6 years of distribution and production maintenance experience.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Must be able to stand 10-12 hours per day, lift, push, pull up to 40 pounds frequently.
Must be able to see, hear and comprehend in a noisy, environment.
Must be able to tolerate temperature ranges of 40 - 90 degrees F.
May be assigned to work off shifts and/or weekend hours.
