Summary/Objective:
Responsible for assembly operations at the plant to ensure assigned production lines produce a product that meets customer quality and delivery requirements. Directly oversees all personnel in assigned area. Observes, promotes and ensures compliance of all rules and policies maintained by the company (safety, continuous improvement, leadership, core values).

Working Conditions:
Primarily working indoors, office environment.
May sit for several hours at a time.
Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Lean, 5S/6S certification preferred.
Preferred Education and Experience
Manufacturing/industry experience
Quality Assurance experience
Lean 5S certification preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications preferred. Proven leadership experience in a similar industry preferred. Public speaking ability preferred. Strong organization and time management skills preferred.
Essential Functions:

Operations - Ensure product is produced and delivered on time. Ensure assigned lines receive materials on time. Troubleshoot and minimize downtime issues on line as they arise. Directly responsible for production flow of assigned lines.
Leadership - Responsible for assigned teams in the areas of operations, safety, continuous improvement and professional development. Directly supervises assigned employees.
Administration - Complete and submit organizational paperwork to include days off requests, employee evaluations, corrective actions, and various reports and checklists.
Quality Assurance - Responsible for ensuring LCI quality standards are followed for assigned production lines.

Supervisory Responsibility:
Data Collection/Information (Develop relationship needed to build a quality product)
Communication for Corrective Action/Documentation (follow through & follow up).
Visually identify red tagged product/orders and accurately track them.
Perform visual NCMR checks and address immediately to operators.
Communicate with all line leads on schedules and shipment dates.
Detailed documented daily communication to align both shifts with info
Perform accurate and timely attendance tracking.
Communicate any rework needed immediately.
Attend all Axle/Plant meetings punctually. One time and engaged.
Maintain production boards and report out on said boards.
Perform one-on-ones daily with a team member for create engagement.
Verify that all scrap is logged properly.
Own your area, making sure that all product needed to complete scheduled builds, are on the line and in proper location.
Communicate any subbing issues or inventory discrepancies effectively and promptly.
Attendance should ALWAYS be below 2 points.
Attend Leadership training.
Show up to work on time and ready to execute.

This is a full-time hourly position.
