Position Description

What does a great (Custom Product Consultant) do?

The Custom Product Consultant gets to utilize a variety of skillsets. The position involves sales, design consultation, collaboration with internal and external projects, technical troubleshooting and resolution, and working with external suppliers. If you are an organized, detail oriented person and desire a technical and creative aspect to your work day this position is for you.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration :

  • Education: Four year degree in Sales/Marketing or Business is required. 5+ years of purchasing and material management, or related experience will be considered.

  • Typically 2 to 3 years of direct or closely related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. In addition to the time guidelines, an individual must meet all other job requirements and a company approved job opening must exist.

  • Position requires fundamental purchasing and buying skills and some knowledge of purchasing technology and methodology, good knowledge of procurement principles and concepts; good PC user skills to include data base inquiry. Math skills are required for pricing to provide quote requests and reconciling vendor invoices and client billing. Also, requires good organizational skills, ability to multi-task and maintain an even handed approach with associates, vendors, and clients, while working with continually changing tasks in a deadline work environment. Knowledge of commercial printing, the secure payment card industry including Europay, Mastercard, & Visa (EMV) standards preferred, but not required.

  • Supervisory/Management experience not required.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Bilingual – proficiency in written and spoke Spanish is preferred.

Travel required : Some travel required on an occasional basis.
