The Business Process Optimization Lead will influence and support the organizational strategy and execution of programs aimed at optimizing a 500 person Sales Organization (Solution Engineers/Sales Engineers). This person will drive workforce unity and operational excellence by helping define, measure and improve processes and performance. The is an individual contributor role, reporting into the Program Office Sr. Manager. It requires an exceptional organizer who is willing to influence and inspire change, who can work well with others in team settings in a very fast paced and fluid environment, and who has an understanding of Sales practices. This is a high-visibility role with direct interaction and partnership with various leaders within the Solutions, Sales and Sales Programs, and Tech and Product teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the Program Office Sr. Manager in cascading the team V2MOM (Vision, Values, Methods, Obstacles, Measures) and aligning the organization behind the leadership's vision and priorities.

  • Partner with leaders and subject matter experts, providing thought leadership and insights to help define projects and programs aimed at supporting the organizational strategy. Carry out programs and projects to completion.

  • Execute strategic initiatives and cross-functional programs. Serve as change agent by identifying and communicating inefficiencies, devising solutions, stimulating and institutionalizing business process improvements.

  • Partner closely with other teams to jointly ensure successful operational execution across these supporting functions.

  • Conduct regular project reviews with management and leadership, providing status updates and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Responsible for collaboratively defining success measures and reporting frameworks for business reporting.

  • Support organization-wide communications and events (i.e. Dreamforce, SKO (Sales Kick Off), World Tours, etc.).

  • Execute logistics for internal events and off-sites.

You must be able to:

  • Organize and facilitate project planning, meetings, and presentations. Track milestones and tasks with assigned teams. Identify and remove impediments that block the team’s ability to meet project objectives.

  • Move fluidly from big picture to details in order to deliver complex projects, often with tight deadlines. Multi-tasking and quickly pivoting between initiatives will be critical.

  • Execute work that requires a great deal of organization, detail orientation, focus and productivity.

  • Build trust across the Solutions team and motivate people across a broad variety of job functions through your relationships. Strive to act with empathy and integrity.

  • Break through communication challenges and effectively develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Orchestrate the efforts of cross-functional teams to execute on programs, projects, awareness campaigns and events to ensure all stakeholder alignment,

  • Understand complex concepts, propose solutions and recommendations. Make reasoned decisions within your scope of work objectively. You are analytical and truth seeking.

  • Understand the general pace of a large Sales organization.

  • Help Sr. Manager identify, develop, and roll-out new processes when appropriate. Develop new tools to automate or streamline processes.

  • Be a bridge and connector between Commercial Solutions and the broader teams.

Specific Knowledge/Skills:

  • Outstanding prioritization, organization, and interpersonal skills (verbal/presentation/written). A “can do” mentality is required. Excellent and tactful communication skills.

  • Direct Sales, Consulting or Project Management experience in the high-tech industry strongly desired. This is not an IT role. In-scope projects include a broad range, from enablement related, to implementation of new tools and/or technologies, to business process change management, to event planning and execution.

  • skills are a plus. Desire to learn CRM is required.

  • Knowledge of common PM tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Google docs) are strongly desired.

  • Bachelor's Degree (desired). Project Management certifications are a plus.

For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $80,400. You may also be entitled to receive bonus and benefits.
