Certified Nursing Assistants/ CNA's are part of an interdisciplinary team focused on providing supportive and functional care in accordance with each members’ unique needs and care plan. Certified Nursing Assistants/ CNA's assist members with activities at our day care centers, including personal and medical care, meals, and on- and off-site social activities. All team members are expected to lead by example - maintaining a positive attitude; being a thoughtful, supportive, productive and dependable co-worker; keeping our members safe; and always working to enhance the health and happiness of the people we serve and those who care for them.   • Our Certified Nursing Assistants/ CNA's assist members with activities of daily living and personal care as needed (e.g. arrival and departure, eating, ambulation, transferring, therapies, rest room assistance, etc.)

  • Through direct interaction and observation, assist interdisciplinary team in reviewing members’ behaviors and medical needs; provide timely and compassionate prescribed medical and physical care in accordance with daily goals.

  • Assist in the planning and facilitation of creative and diverse therapeutic recreational programs and encourage member participation.

  • Serve meals and snacks and clear tables; assist with feeding as needed.

  • Our Certified Nursing Assistants/ CNA's ensure the safety of members by monitoring activities, keeping a sanitary, clutter-free environment, and participating in safety training; actively contribute to creating and maintaining a clean, orderly, bright and welcoming center.

  • Maintain program areas, supplies, and equipment ensuring all are clean, disinfected, stocked, replenished and in good working order.

  • Communicate in a positive, courteous and professional manner with members and their families, co-workers, referral agencies, and the community at large.

  • Participate in staff meetings and in-service educational programs as requested; actively collaborate with cross-functional team, providing feedback and recommendations for enhancing the member experience and achieving the center’s overall goals and objectives.

  • Comply with company policies and procedures, safety, and regulatory requirements.

  • Our Certified Nursing Assistants/ CNA's will perform other duties and responsibilities as changed or assigned at any time in order to meet the needs of our valued members.

  • High school diploma or equivalent and current CNA certification.

  • At least 18 years of age.

  • At least one-year full-time equivalent experience in a health care setting preferred.

  • Prior experience working with seniors and/or adults with special needs preferred.

  • Strong communication and engaging interpersonal skills.

  • Able to multi-task and manage time effectively.

  • Able to work a flexible schedule.

  • Able to bend, pull, push, squat, turn, transfer, and lift 50 pounds; able to stand for an extended period while providing physical assistance to members.

  • Successful results of background check, and where applicable, additional state-specific regulatory requirements.
