Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits CPWS Commercial Ops & Sales Performance Analyst in Indianapolis, Indiana

Job Description

Serves as the single point of contact for Sales Performance Plan (SPP) within the division, supporting the Commercial Operations and Sales teams

Dutiesand Responsibilities

  • Developperformancemanagementinitiatives to lead the gathering, tracking and recapping ofSPP metrics, includingcompensation/incentives,Objectives and Revenue

  • CollaboratewithCommercialOperationsfunctionsincludingTrade Development,CommercialFinance, Sales & Operations Planning(S&OP) andBusiness Intelligence (BI) to supportallregionalinitiatives, projectsandefforts

  • Lead SPP engagements, including planningmeetings, communication and recap/reviews with SGWS leadership

  • Ensure all programs fall in line withstandards regarding tracking and execution by coordinating with Pricing, BI andCommercial Finance

  • Measure program objectives and ROIwith Proof dashboard or other available internal reporting tools

  • Utilize various available analytictools (Sales Nav, Steelwedge, Compass, Go Spot Check, Trax/EDGE, etc.) toidentify local market intelligence and opportunities – consumer shifts/trends,channel dynamics, key account (NAOP/ chains) dynamics, etc.

  • Identify opportunities to improveoperationalefficiencies

  • Ensure all program tracking isaccurate, timely and aligns with regional and individual state reporting

  • Coach, direct, and counsel team onoverall SPP performance

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination ofeducation and experience

  • 3ormoreyearsofrelevantconsulting,projectmanagement,analyticalandcommercialwork experienceisrequired

  • Able to obtain and meet industrylicensing requirements as needed

  • Criticalnatureofthisjobmayrequireextendedhours,overtimeandweekends

    Qualifications

  • Proficientworking knowledge of computerized applications, for example, wordprocessing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, email, and specialized business applicationssoftware

  • Presentationskills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and facilitate discussions with all levelof management

  • Interpersonalskills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationshipswith all levels of the organization and relevant stakeholders

  • Knowledgeof applicable state regulations and adult beverage market dynamics

  • Mustrequire little direction or supervision; goal-orientedfocused, and assertive

  • Abilityto manage multiple projects/priorities on tight deadlines and maintain a high level of quality output

  • Stronganalytical, leadership and verbal/written communication skills
