People in our Client Delivery & Operations career track drive delivery and capability excellence through the design, development and/or delivery of a solution, service, capability or offering. They grow into delivery-focused roles, and can progress within their current role, laterally or upward.

This Enterprise Technical Solution Architect role will support our BPS Sales and Solutioning Team as the responsible Technical Architect in pre-sales/RFP processes involving complex sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support our Sales Team as Enterprise Technical Solution Architect in large and complex pre-sales / RFP processes involving multiple technologies:

  • Manage/ Coordinate involved technology teams in on- and offshore locations across all aspects of technology relevant to the opportunity

  • Develop technical solution design and work with assigned technical architects and cost architects to create corresponding cost estimates

  • Present and discuss solutions with client executives

  • Present technology solution to internal executive approvers

  • Assess the business impact/return on investment for the more complex components of the technology solution

  • Facilitate client workshops, document business requirements and develop them into a proposed solution design

  • Act as customers’ key contact on the proposed technology solution

  • Work closely with other technology teams such as Insights and Intelligence, Automation and Technology Consulting to create a holistic technology approach and cost estimate that captures all details, dependencies and assumptions of the technology landscape

  • Transitioning the solution to the mobilization team for implementation upon contract signature

  • Establishing oneself as a leader in cross-technology issues and risk mitigation

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Financial Services client group (Banking, Insurance, etc)

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as solution architect or business consultant in a client-facing capacity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specific industry knowledge of Insurance vertical to include any technology experience with Duck Creek, Guidewire, ALIP, and / or Fineos.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer information systems, engineering, business or related field

  • Experience working with Operations and supporting technology teams (e.g. delivery factories, sales teams, OATL’s, etc.)

  • Technology Architect certification

  • Business function process knowledge in Financial Services (e.g. Banking, Compliance as a Service, KYC, Credit Services)

  • Business function process knowledge in Finance & Accounting (Accounts Payable/Receivable, Record to Report, Order to Cash)

  • Familiarity with Tech for Ops core technology solutions and functions

  • Experience with outsourcing applications such as ERPs, reporting, reconciliation and workflow tools

  • Experience with Offering-specific capabilities (Health, Marketing, Utilities a plus)

  • Experience with multiple connectivity solutions

  • Language skills in a major non-English language

  • IT Operations experience
