Responsible for providing enterprise security solutions for business, regulatory, and legal requirements, and assuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Participates and completes tasks associated with the support of Information Security governance processes;

  • coordinates and prepares reporting;

  • provides stakeholder support;

  • Provides trouble resolution on complex issues.

Team member responsibilities:

  • Apply basic knowledge of information security concepts in the review of exceptions to Information Security policy, understanding of supporting details and the assessment of related risk(s).

  • Demonstrate attention to detail in the documentation and presentation of Policy Exceptions ensuring deliverables are complete, accurate and acceptable for review by leadership.

  • Demonstrate effective communication in the documentation and delivery of action items to stakeholders involved in the Policy Exception review process.

  • Perform regular follow-up on action items that are past agreed upon timelines, working with necessary stakeholders to ensure completion within a timely manner.

  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to identify and investigate details related to Policy Exceptions, where necessary.

  • Document outcomes of Policy Exception board reviews in appropriately detailed meeting minutes. Create and assign action items in workflow management system accordingly.

  • Execute basic reporting tasks including Microsoft pivot tables, charts/graphs and other basic forms of analysis.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement where feasible.

As a member of the Security Exception team, this individual should demonstrate the following skills/knowledge:

  • Knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).

  • Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Skill in preparing plans and related correspondence.

  • Ability to answer questions in a clear and concise manner, and ask clarifying questions.

  • Ability to communicate complex information, concepts, or ideas in a confident and well-organized manner through verbal, written, and/or visual means.

  • Ability to communicate effectively when writing.

  • Ability to facilitate small group discussions.

  • Ability to dissect a problem and examine the interrelationships between data that may appear unrelated.

  • Ability to evaluate information for reliability, validity, and relevance.

  • Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to function in a collaborative environment, seeking continuous consultation with other analysts and experts—both internal and external to the organization—to leverage analytical and technical expertise.

  • Ability to relate strategy, business, and technology in the context of organizational dynamics.

  • Ability to understand technology, management, and leadership issues related to organization processes and problem solving.

  • Knowledge of basic cybersecurity protections for each topic/control family.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles and organizational requirements (relevant to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, non-repudiation).

  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.

  • Knowledge of information technology (IT) security principles and methods (e.g., firewalls, demilitarized zones, encryption).

  • Skill in performing impact/risk assessments.

  • Skill in performing root cause analysis.

Info Security Sr Advisor

Requires BS/BA in related field; 8+ years experience in systems administration and security aspects of information systems, computer networking, telecommunications, systems development and management; significant experience with multiple technical and business disciplines required.; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Advanced knowledge and understanding of industry-accepted data processing controls and concepts as applied to access management and network security technologies, hardware, software, data, network communications, and people. Security Certifications: CISSP and other advanced technical security certifications (e.g. Information Systems Security Architecture Professional, Information Security Engineering Professional, Certification and Accreditation Professional, or equivalent certifications) preferred.

Infor Security Advisor

Requires BS/BA Degree; 5 - 8 years experience in a support & operations or design & engineering role in any of the following areas: access management or network security technologies, servers, networks, telecommunications, operating systems, middleware, disaster recovery, collaboration technologies, or hardware/software support; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Significant experience with multiple technical and business disciplines preferred. Working knowledge and understanding of industry-accepted data processing controls and concepts as applied to hardware, software, data, network communications, and people. Security Certifications: CISSP preferred or other technical security certifications (e.g. Systems Security Certified Practitioner, Certification and Accreditation Professional).

Security Analyst III

Requires a BA/BS; 3+ years of experience in a support and operations or design and engineering role; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Technical security certifications (e.g. Systems Security Certified Practitioner) preferred.
