Job Details

Salesforce is looking for a Billing Analyst for its M&A team. You will be contributing directly to top-line revenue growth and assist in driving process improvements, as well as taking responsibility for obtaining and verifying the information required for accurate and complete billing to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key owner of the entire invoicing process

  • Complete daily billing processes, with attention to detail, ensuring completeness and accuracy

  • Process credits and/or other AR transactions as needed

  • Work closely with the Revenue Accounting, Sales Operations groups, and Services organization to resolve inquiries and process billings on time

  • Ability to review and understand contracts and billing requirements to validate key billing data across systems

  • Assist in resolving invoice disputes and handle billing inquiries for customers

  • Complete customer set up forms as necessary

  • Operate in line with SOX requirements

  • Implement process changes to continue to streamline the process as the business line grows

  • Participate in month end close as needed

  • Create and prepare reports as needed

  • Ad hoc responsibilities as needed

About You:

  • B.S./B.A. – Business Administration or equivalent – Graduated or Student or equivalent experience

  • A passion for the details combined with a vision for big-picture goals

  • Excellent communication skills across all levels

  • A “get it done” attitude

  • Self-starter who relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

  • An affinity for a strong company culture with smart teammates who care about making a huge impact

  • Ability to manage ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of projects and strategies

  • Big picture understanding of how data produced impacts internal and external reporting

Systems Experience:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills a must

  • Preferred Experience:

  • ERP systems (preferably NetSuite)

  • SFDC

  • G-suite products
