We seek a Manager, FP&A HVAC Logistics, reporting to the Associate Director of Finance Logistics within the RLCS Finance organization. The successful candidate will:

  • Lead the development of the annual operating plan:

  • Own the monthly closing process

  • Provide financial thought leadership in support of the implementation of SC&L initiatives

  • Provide meaningful insight into productivity performance both for flat volume projects as well as C700

  • Translate large sums of data into meaningful information and be able to present to senior executives

The ideal candidate will apply a logical, systematic approach to problem-solving using a combination of standard work and problem-solving techniques to provide insight, interpret information, and present recommendations to management. The ability to effectively interact with executive level management, internal customers, internal manufacturing sites, freight providers, forward stocking / 3PL providers, and external customers is essential.


  • Identify, coordinate and obtain the critical inputs in HFM.

  • Analyze and report year-on-year financial impacts ensuring that guidance goals are met

  • Establish and maintain the financial dashboards required to monitor performance periodically.

  • Supervise the monthly closing process, including the monthly journal entry process

  • Consolidate and report on actual financial results providing insight into main drivers vs. plan, prior year, and forecast.

  • Identify the risk and opportunities to the plan and communicate those to functional leadership in SC&L and Finance, as appropriate.

  • Help create and sustain a culture of data-driven analytical decision making.

  • Effectively communicate the results of complex quantitative analysis to a variety of audiences.

  • Additional opportunities to lead project teams within Supply Chain and Logistics organization will become available as initiatives are developed.

  • Provide product line guidance in support of monthly forecast and annual planning processes

  • Analyze actual results vs. prior year, plan and forecast


  • BA/BS degree with 7+ years of experience in finance or accounting

  • MA/MS degree with 5+ years of experience (desired)


  • Passion for servicing customers. Ability to listen to customer needs and quickly act to solve their problems, go above and beyond to exceed their expectations

  • Proven ability to execute with speed and exhibit a bias for action mindset.

  • Ability to think outside the box, innovate, take risks, and implement progressive, sustainable solutions

  • Strong ability to work in diverse, cross-functional project teams to achieve high-performance levels in a dynamic, changing environment. Successful experience with collaborating and developing teams and working in a matrix environment

  • Proven track record of process improvement and driving project to conclusion.

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Ability to analyze disparate information and draw conclusions and make robust recommendations

  • Knowledge and experience with demand forecasting (statistical and business process).

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to maneuver through organizational boundaries and be resourceful in a complex supply chain organization

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and Access

  • Experience with SAP and Business Intelligence

  • Experience with RPA tools and processes and managing “Big Data.”
