Lilly Marketing Account Manager in Indianapolis, Indiana
The purpose of the Account Manager role is to partner with brands, agency partners, and internal production services to ensure the tactical plan is executed. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned work for their respective brands, and to ensure execution against defined project plans. The Account Manager is expected to be a proactive problem solver, and is expected to develop and maintain long-term, trusting relationships with their brand teams.
Key Objectives/Deliverables :
Key interface for the development marketing work
Define, oversee, and maintain a master timeline for all tactics within the portfolio in partnership with marketing operations
Track and communicate the progress of initiatives to internal stakeholders
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to marketing needs and objectives
Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact the business
Partner with internal creative services teams to deliver tactics
Consolidate and deliver feedback between internal partners
Assist with issue escalations as needed
Advocate for each brand’s unique character, and quality and readiness
Attend brand strategy and internal production services meetings
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with brand teams
Represent the brand team’s perspective to team members
Communicates project needs and scope through our internal studio.
Challenge strategies not aligned to brand positioning
Collaborate with leaders and team members to ensure marketing needs are represented
Know Lilly’s processes, brand strategies and tactics, and support resources
Know Lilly’s culture, organizational structure, roles and practices
Understand agency structures and processes
Know their products, disease states, and associated brand strategies Demonstrate working knowledge of Medical, Legal and Regulatory “areas of concern” for their brands/indications
Understand tactic types and associated requirements
Have a thorough understanding of Lilly's Quality processes and must be capable of understanding and applying these processes and requirements when executing their role
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time
Demonstrated enthusiasm and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Proven ability to be an agile learner who’s proactive on a daily basis
Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
Proven experience with strategic and tactical planning
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
Proven planning and organizational skills
Leading without authority
Certification in Project Management
Experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role
