The Robert Half Healthcare Practice has an immediate opening with a growing Healthcare Provider!

We are so excited to partner with this innovative and well-respected firm on the northside of Indianapolis to help them secure the newest member of their team! The full-time Medical Front Desk Specialist will work a weekly schedule of 8am-5/5:30pm - up to 40 hours weekly! Some travel between the northside, Greenwood, and Muncie locations will be required.

This open role is for a talented Medical Front Desk Specialist who is looking to grow their career. The Medical Front Desk Specialist will manage the lobby area and provide positive first impressions along with welcoming guests. We are looking for a positive self-starter who is eager to thrive in a dynamic environment and is deeply passionate about providing high quality administrative support. Are you comfortable with managing multiple tasks at the same time? Then we have the Front Office Specialist position for you.

As the Medical Front Desk Specialist, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: personable, energetic, and welcoming greetings of patients in person and by telephone, collecting accurate patient information for medical electronic charting by answering multiple phone lines, voice messages, electronic appt. requests, faxes, etc., scheduling patient appointments, surgeries, lab testing, etc., entering demographics, verifying insurance coverage and pre-authorization requirements, checking patients in and out, collecting money, ordering and stocking supplies and equipment, and assuring a happy, clean, orderly and functioning work environment.

The requirements of the Medical Front Desk Specialist role include, but are not limited to: basic office equipment experience, excellent written, verbal and social communication skills, excellent telephone etiquette and keyboard skills, exceptional organizational and time management skills, accurate data entry, math and spelling skills, and ability to multitask effectively.
