Not only do we deliver breakthrough medications, but you also can count on us to develop creative solutions to support communities through philanthropy and volunteerism.Purpose of Job:Pharmaceutical Project Management (PPM) provides strategic and operational drug development leadership across the Research and Development portfolio, integrating drug development across all functions and translating strategy into execution to deliver medicines to patients.Responsibilities:Responsible for Facilitating and Supporting Asset Strategy and Portfolio Delivery (85%):Enable strategy by leading a core team through the development of the asset strategy, in alignment with approved scope while demonstrating judgement-based decision-making principles to drive implementationDeliver a plan that is in alignment with corporate priorities and the approved asset scopeResponsible for managing scope and supporting creation of a global integrated development plan that articulates the strategy for the molecule and provides the foundation for operational objectivesWork with marketing, medical, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to create and execute project plans and delivery of project breakthroughsHold functions accountable for achievement of key results in alignment with the project plan and corporate quality standardsDrive development of a global integrated project budget that ensures alignment with functional representatives and leadershipDevelop and implement team communication plans and drive communication of key decisions/results to key partners upward and across organizationProficient in self-management and organizational skills; able to manage workload, set personal and team priorities and adjust as neededStrong interpersonal and teambuilding skills; able to foster effective teamwork between team members with diverse stylesDemonstrate independent problem solving and influenceProject Management Tools/IT Management:Champion the application and integration of key project management processes and tools across teamsProvide quality and on-time content using project management tools and ensure systems are up to dateMonitor and prioritize team risks to suggest ways to avoid/mitigate risks and initiate contingency plans as neededApplication/Improvement of Processes (Shared Learning) (10%):The Consultant project manager plays a leadership role as a resource to the business regarding shared learning, process improvement, and identification of special/complex needs as they pertain to their primary responsibilitiesShare learnings and retrospectively review lessons learned across functionsBring forward areas for continual process improvement to decrease drug development cycle times and costLiaise with Project Management Office (PMO) and Resource Modeling and Forecasting (RMF) teams to identify, share, and incorporate best practices into future processes, tools and trainingDrive after action reviews to improve processesPeople (5%):Demonstrate the four Team Lilly behaviors of Include, Innovate, Accelerate and DeliverContribute to the d
