Drees Homes is seeking candidates for the position of Production Resource Coordinator for our Division in Indianapolis, IN.
As a Production Resource Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing all divisional prints, plan studies and facilitating the contract to start process.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Alert management to contractual obligations in Land/Lot Acquisition agreements
Initial review of Build-to-order sales contracts and architecture requests
Order all site specific plans from our Architecture Department
Audit completed architecture requests for accuracy and ensure all buyer and construction notes are accurately documented
Track progress and maintain logs, Drees systems and JDE
Attend slotting meetings and update slotting board
Work with Corporate Architecture Department to resolve repetitive errors
Coordinate new/revised house plans and elevations and prioritize with Architecture and Management
Attend prototype house walk-throughs and coordinate changes with Architecture
Work with Estimating on generation of take-offs for new/revised plans and structural options
Work with permitting to ensure all jobs are processed timely
Conduct Red-line training sessions with Sales personnel
Other projects as assigned
Requirements Include:
Bachelor's degree in Construction or related field preferred
Working with municipalities or in the residential permitting field preferred
Homebuilder field experience a plus
Ability to read/modify blueprints and have an understanding of architectural software
Strong computer skills, must be efficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Familiarity with residential construction building materials and code
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail
Organized and able to multi-task and manage time efficiently
Team player who enjoys problem solving
