Ascension Health Quality Improvement Educator in Indianapolis, Indiana

We Are Hiring

Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday

Statewide travel to ambulatory practices to conduct quality training. (mileage reimbursed). The ideal candidate is someone who has EMR experience, has worked in a healthcare clinic or has healthcare quality experience.

What You Will Do

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate educational activities related to clinical areas for an assigned service line or population.

  • Collaborate with managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.

  • Serve as a resource for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice and professional development.

  • Participate in the coordination and continuity of orientation programs.

What You Will Need

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.

Additional Preferences

Clinical informaticist or MBA, or MHA with quality experience highly preferred.

EMR or EHR experience preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business or nursing preferred.

  • 5+ years of clinical training or clinical education experience highly preferred.

  • 3+ years in quality improvement / quality management highly preffered.

  • Quality experience in healthcare highly preferred.

  • Training or teaching experience preferred.
