At Regions, the Small Business Administration Sales Manager directs, coordinates, and leads the business development and sales activities of a team of Small Business Administration Bankers in an assigned geographic location. The role is focused on revenue growth, business model execution, sales performance, sound risk practices and customer satisfaction.
Manages sales process and coach SBA Bankers in all sales development efforts
Plans call and sales goals with SBA Leadership, ensuring they are clearly communicated to bankers
Provides sales coaching and feedback on pipeline of new and expanded business
Ensures adherence to internal policies and procedures
Provides leadership and support to SBA management while building a team-oriented culture of excellence
Performs general management duties, exercising usual authority concerning staff, performance appraisals, promotions, and terminations
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance, Economics, or related field
Five (5) years of SBA banking, sales or relationship management experience
Demonstrated credit acumen
Master’s degree in related field
Seven (7) years of experience in commercial, consumer and/or SBA banking, sales, or relationship management
Prior experience in management/supervisory role

Ability to supervise and manage a team
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to work in a team environment when applicable
Demonstrated leadership capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Strong work ethic and self-motivation
Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
This position may be filled anywhere in the Regions footprint in the Mid-America region.
