MDwise works with the State of Indiana and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to bring you the Hoosier Healthwise and Healthy Indiana Plan health insurance programs.

Provides leadership and supervision of the outreach staff in designing and implementing programs to meet member needs. Program management and quality monitoring of community outreach initiatives and programs, including an understanding of member needs, community programs, and internal resources. Promotes member advocacy, interdepartmentally and companywide, with the individual member rights in the forefront. Works in collaboration with leadership from Customer
Service Departments to ensure regulatory and State compliance measures are met. Assists where necessary or through project management those business ventures undertaken by the Company to ensure its profitable future.
Associate degree in business, health care or related field.
Two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory role for a staff of five or more members leading or assisting in all phases of effective supervision (ie. Recruitment, performance management, training).
Two (2) years’ experience in health plan member outreach, customer service, or operations role.
Experience and knowledge of HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO and Managed Care functions (e.g. accounting/finance, reinsurance, EDI, marketing, administration, medical delivery, regulatory compliance, claims processing, membership/eligibility, contracting and risk arrangements and actuarial precepts).
Experience developing and presenting training materials.
Demonstrated project management skills.
