DescriptionOntario Systems has a new and exciting position as Technical Product Manager on our Product Team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the healthcare accounts receivable space facing the providers and outsourcers market and a solid track record of delivering on-time and on-budget product releases.Location This position will be remote. Candidate may work where they live anywhere in the United States. This position may also work from one of our office locations in either Muncie, IN or Burlington, MA.Visa sponsorship or transfer of an existing visa is not available for this position. Applicants must be authorized to work directly for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship or transfer.What You'll DoAs Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring product line business needs are effectively and efficiently realized by the development organization. You will work closely with architects and development teams to evaluate software design options, prioritize technical debt and infrastructure work, and assess technology platforms to inform product roadmaps. This professional self-starter will report to a Director, Product Management and work closely with key stakeholders in development, operations, client support, and implementation. Specific duties include:Deliver product releases on-time and within budget based upon agreed scopeEnsure business needs appropriately reflect different end-user personas' pain-pointsTranslate business needs into development requirements, compliant with SAFE practices at Ontario SystemsDevelop technical requirements that support agnostic, flexible configurable, API options within the product to meet unique client's needs.Work with Product Design (UI/UX) to optimize workflows, user interfaces, and visual designPrepare software design plans including product specifications and use case documentationCoordinate beta testsResearch and write user stories that follow INVEST criteriaWork with Support and Sales teams to ensure that feature functionality can be sold and supportedWork with implementation team to ensure that product offerings have cohesive implementation playbooksDefine success criteria for testing and product acceptanceEnsure business needs and priorities are maintained in a prioritized backlog used by development teamsWork with architects and development teams to agree on design and implementation methodologies, effective prioritization and management of technical debt, MandS, and relevant infrastructure workUnderstand, research, and follow technical and industry trendsWork with development team and Scrum Managers to monitor progress and to maintain product release status dashboardsManage the retirement lifecycle, identify alternate/replacement solutions, and understand impact/cost and support needsOwn and monitor product performance, product quality, and success of products based on customer responseWork with client support team to resolve customer issues as neededAnswer incoming questions about the product and its capabilitiesWhat You'll NeedCollege degree required; Business or Computer Science degree preferred5 years of experience in a relevant role or industryExecution-focused mindsetAn understanding of healthcare workflows and how software can streamline the insurance follow-up, denial and self-pay processesLeadership experience on a team that designed, built, or used healthcare workflow solutionsStrong understanding of AGILE methodologyRobust technical fundamental skills, especially in building softwareProblem solving skills; able to analyze a problem and design creative solutionsAttention to detail; extraordinary eye for usability and the customer experienceExcellent written communication skills; able to succinctly convey complex ideas through the written wordGreat people skills; able to facilitate, negotiate and persuade stakeholdersFlexible and agile; able to rapidly adapt to changing situations and inputsAbility to work well wi
