TRI-CAP Human Resource Coordinator in Jasper, Indiana

Responsible for preparation of semi-monthly payroll as well as timely reporting of all payroll related taxes and reporting as necessary. Will also assist Human Resources Director in various HR duties, administrative support necessary for the efficient operation of all Human Resources activities of the agency. Will handle non-routine correspondence and assemble highly confidential and sensitive information.Embrace, advocate and carry out the mission and vision of the agency. Abide by all agency policies, procedures and Community Action Code of Ethics.Payroll duties:Maintain semi-monthly payroll processes including the timely reporting of EFTPS payroll tax reporting, garnishments, ACH payroll deposits and all related payroll tax reports including 941s, SUTA taxes, 401k payments, enter attendance/missed hours into spreadsheet/file forms, and other required payroll/tax related reporting, etc.Responsible for preparation of time cards for payroll processing; answer staff questions in regards to payroll issues; route benefit, other related questions to HR.Responsible for input and updates as necessary in ClockWise timecard system. 1094/1095 annual tax information health insurance tax filings.Complete and submit W2 filings as required according to due dates.HR duties:Provide support to hiring process through candidate correspondence; phone screens; reference checks; employment verifications; tracking spreadsheets; and scheduling/completing applicable required pre-employment screens.Enter all new employees, status form changes, address change, optional questions, benefit deduction amounts or other employee information as necessary into GMS and processing necessary paperwork.New hire reporting to the state and I-9 E-Verify entry.Responsible for Employee Personnel folder filing.Responsible for all new employees, status changes and terminations in insurance enrollment and termination process for all benefits.Responsible for verifying monthly benefit statements and preparing payment vouchers.Assist with monitoring employee files, performance reviews and other HR processes as required.Assist with coordinating and planning Semi-Annual Meetings and Employee Recognition Awards. Other duties as requested HR Director and the Executive Director.
