Our shop floor Team Leader to work hands on to manufacture product needed for customer demand and to meet on time delivery for optimum customer satisfaction.less thanbr> BASIC BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS ARE:less thanbr> * Successfully Interview with relevant hiring teamless thanbr> * Previous production experience helpful but not requiredless thanbr> KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES INCLUDE:less thanbr> WEEK 1: (UNLESS ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED)less thanbr> * Complete required HR, Safety, Quality and Benefits Orientationless thanbr> * Complete IPC 610/J-STD-001 Training and pass post training assessmentless thanbr> * Complete hand solder training and pass post training assessmentless thanbr> WEEK 2 6 MONTHS:less thanbr> * Learn and comply with: Paperless Work Instruction Documentation System, ESD Requirements, Timekeeping system, Standard Operation Procedures, and where necessary SAP defect recording and/or Traceability Recordingless thanbr> * Begin On-The-Job-Training with assigned trainer; Listen and follow instructionsless thanbr> * Participate in 45 and 90 day review process and Performance Feedbackless thanbr> * Communicate with other shifts to ensure that relevant information is shared for maximum understanding of production situations (i.e. quality issues, missing parts, machine issues, downtime, etc.)less thanbr> * Complete Yellow belt Training and required projectless thanbr> * Needs to develop good understanding of department processesless thanbr> * Will monitor assembly scrapless thanbr> * Can navigate SAP transactions (including defects recording and traceability)less thanbr> * Knows how to fill out MRB tags for non-conforming material and locationsless thanbr> * Knowledge of moisture sensitive devices per (MSD) procedureless thanbr> * Will assist in maintaining department reports and recordsless thanbr> * Able to run machinery when neededless thanbr> * Knowledge of computer system to help with routings, shop orders, requisitions, ability to check in parts and reconcile material, etc.less thanbr> * Monitor Safety of employeesless thanbr> 6 MONTHS +:less thanbr> * Cross train on 3-5 other jobs within the team/shiftless thanbr> * Participate in 6 month and one year review processless thanbr> * Monitor Scrap and efficiency on the production linesless thanbr> * Create and support an operational environment that is focused on continuous improvementless thanbr> * Provide assistance to the production supervisor in maintaining the operation of the of the operating unitless thanbr> * Will fill in for supervisor in their absenceless thanbr> * Make decisions based upon schedule requirements and keep WIP moving to next processless thanbr> * Confidentialityless thanbr> * Able and willing to cross-train into other production positions which may have different technical or physical requirements (when time available)less thanbr> * Ability to learn computer systemsless thanbr> * Possesses good computer navigation and Reading /Math skillsless thanbr> * Ability to communicate effectively within the KEG team environmentless thanbr> * Able and willing to contribute to the success of KEG s business initiatives i.e. scrap reduction, quality incentive programless thanbr> * Support company policies and guidelinesless thanbr> * Promotes our Mission and Guiding Principles by assisting in meeting expectations to customer, people, citizenship and the success of the companyless thanbr> * Ensure proper tools and other equipment are availableless thanbr> * Maintain an open/effective employee relations environmentless thanbr> * To ensure accurate data entryless thanbr>
