Job Description

Kelly Services is interviewing for a Human Resources Administrator for a customer in Lafayette!

-12-month assignment

-$18-$21/hr DOE

-Flexible schedule - 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm. Limited OT needed.

Responsibilities will include:

-provide administrative support for manufacturing operations and Human Resource functions.

-handle administrative duties related to bargaining unit agreements, manufacturing plans, time and attendance, and payroll.

-working in a plant environment and be very familiar with the bargaining unit contract.

-scheduling meetings, training, posting of policies, etc.

-Maintaining hourly employee personnel files

-Resolving payroll issues

-Monitoring FMLA and sick leaves and identifying any issues

-Assisting with grievance investigations

-Helping employees to resolve benefit issues

-Scheduling of departmental vacations

-Issuance of discipline notifications

-Being cross-trained on all other departmental agreements

-Maintain training records for hourly employees

Requirements

-Working knowledge of administrative skills, including experience in electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics and data base computer skills.

-Higher level administrative training and experience is preferred

-Intermediate Excel skills - create pivot tables, formulas

-Payroll experience is the most important skill - min 2 yrs. Payroll experience

-Minimum of high school education is required

-Some weekend work may be required
