Community Mental Health Center, Inc. is a provider of comprehensive mental health services, offering inpatient, outpatient, home-based, school, and community-based programs to individuals and families in Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley and Switzerland counties in Southeastern Indiana. Position Responsibilities: The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for managing the following organizational functions/areas: accounting, capital asset management, insurance and financial management including accounts receivable, accounts payable, grants management, purchasing, payroll, and maintenance and housekeeping.
Formulates accounting and financial policies in collaboration with the Executive Director to accomplish corporate objectives in a manner consistent with existing Center policy.
Maintains accounting and statistical records in a manner in which will enable the fulfillment of the responsibility of reporting to external funding and regulatory bodies such as DMH, HHS, Medicare/Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, etc.
Provides administrative supervision to the Patient Accounts Manager, Controller, Financial Analyst, and Maintenance Coordinator.
Monitors the purchasing of all materials, equipment, supplies, etc. for the entire Center.
Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, five (5) years financial management experience, at least 3 of which are in a health care setting, and five (5) years supervisory experience. MBA and CPA preferred.
Administrative Supervisor: The administrative supervisor is the Executive Director.
