Network AdministratorPeak Community Services is seeking an experienced Network Administrator. The Network Administrator is responsible for the administration of network infrastructure and systems security in support of our network operations.About Peak Community Services, Inc.For over 60 years, Peak Community Services has been dedicated to helping people with Developmental or Intellectual disabilities grow in the community at work, at home, and in everyday life.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and 3 to 5+ years of maintaining and operating equipment in an enterprise environment, proficiency in Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Office, Networking, Intranet, Knowledge on VMWare/Virtual technologies and Configuration, Build, and Administration of Microsoft Windows ServersREPORTS TO:iiCEOEMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION:iiProfessional (Exempt)SKILLS AND ABILITY:Passion for technology, technical experience with increasing responsibility, ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment, strong written and verbal communication skills, good organizational and project management skills, strong troubleshooting skills, close attention to detail, efficient time management, proactive in problem solving, and self-motivated.Responsibilities:Maintain overall network security, health and preventative maintenanceInstall, operate, and maintain network hardware, software and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications including routers (wired and wireless), switches, and operating systemsProvide expertise to achieve strategic business objectives using advanced networking technologies and solutionsMaintain a stable networking structure for the agency.Implement and monitor system security.Control and maintain backups of major software systems.Maintain passwords and system access of each user.Maintain quality assurance by testing data for accuracy on a regular basis.Implement and maintain VPN connections to and from the central office for remote connectivity.Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.Actively seek training and information on the latest technology used by the agency.Other duties as assigned.
