Job Details:Reporting to the Ambulatory Applications Director, the Analyst provides application support and user assistance within the assigned clinical information system. Assists in the implementation process when installing or upgrading systems and during the testing process to ensure data integrity. Acts as second level support and as an extension of the help desk as part of day to day support duties. Understands assigned applications, their relative value to the business aspects of ambulatory operations and is able to assist users to maximize the utility of the clinical information system. Serves as the liaison between the user community, physician practices, IT and Epic Project Team. To qualify you must have: · Associate or Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business management, or information systems.· Practical experience in healthcareregistration.· Proven skills in problem solving.· Strong analytical and technical skills.· Working knowledge of multiple software applications, systems analysis/design, integration/design, or web applications/design.· General understanding of underlying technologies: hardware, networking, Intranet, Internet, PDA, bar coding and wireless.· Ability and commitment to meet deadlines and cope in a fast paced environment.· Capable of working well in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team and successfully interacting with others at all levels of the organization, including remote teams.· Ability to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor in both normal and pressure situations.· Proficient MS Office skills.· Epic proficiency/certification preferred or must obtain Epic proficiency/certification during introductory period.
