Our team members are part of a company with a heritage of leadership, a focus on shaping the future, and a mission dedicated to alleviating pain and improving the quality of life for people around the world.In this role, you will be responsible for providing independent biostatistical support including application of statistical and research methodological principles for the design, execution and analysis of clinical trials.This position has flexibility to be fully remote.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesInterfaces with data management, field clinical monitors, engineers and clinical project managers, senior research and development management, medical directors, and functional management.Works with management on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.Frequent direct interactions with orthopaedic surgeons and FDA statisticians and reviewers, and international regulatory authorities to support Company submissions and strategies.Works closely with medical writers in the analysis and preparation of scholarly manuscripts and presentations on Zimmer Biomet products.Deals with complex issues using critical analysis and develops and defends reasoned solutions.Provides guidance, mentoring, and advice on statistical methods to more junior biostatisticians supporting the clinical affairs function.Expert in areas of biostatistical analysis particularly dealing with large datasets.Expert in FDA regulations, standards and Guidance Documents relating to clinical trial conduct, analysis, and presentation.Expected Areas of CompetenceCreates new and innovative ways of doing things, demonstrates flexibility, open-mindedness, and adaptability to a rapidly changing environment.
