This position is responsible for managing aspects of technical projects assigned within the respective business unit. This role will utilize strong technical expertise to help the Division achieve goals of executing projects on time, on budget and within scope. In performing these responsibilities, this position will work closely with business leaders and functional project leaders to assess and track the various activities and resources required in day to day project management.Principal Duties and Responsibilities10 Be the New Product Development process expert on the team and be accountable for the team being compliant to the intent of the process and completing the required deliverables, on time. 5 Facilitate project definition 5 Facilitate development of Work Break Down Structures 15 Develop Master Schedule and Resource Plan. 10 Monitor Master Project Plan. 15 Protect the plan by identifying and mitigating risks and having contingencies 5 Provide guidance for on-boarding a new project into the project management framework. 5 Provide Project management functions for new product development projects. 10 Provide Project presentations to senior management teams as required. 10 Demonstrate strong skills in communicating project management ideas and principles. 10 Provide ownership and expertise in the education, use, and application level support of Manage tools, such as MS Project and Portfolio Navigator for globally managed projects. 100 Total Percent (not to exceed 100%) *Individual percents should be greater than or equal to 5%. Possess excellent skills in communications (both oral and written) Maintaining strong working relationships with business and other project leaders. Strong problem-solving skills; able to take action in making decisions Presentation skills. Able to clearly present information through the spoken work; influence or persuade others through oral presentations in positive and negative circumstances, listens well. Must be able to emit a level of confidence and expertise to effectively train other employees Must possess a collaborative style to work effectively throughout the organization. Able to work with people in such a manner as to build high morale and group commitment to goals and objectives.
